Gold jumped by Rs 257 to hit a new peak at Rs 35,528 per 10 grams in local bullion market Friday, as its international price also soared to $ 1,298 an ounce, market sources said.
A leading bullion dealer said that tola (11.664 grams) price also climbed by Rs 300 to Rs 41,450.
However, silver closed unchanged at Rs 531.42 per 10 grams.
Gold moved up by Rs 43 to touch new high at Rs 34,928 per 10 grams in local bullion market Tuesday, as its international price also improved to $1,281 an ounce, market sources said.
A leading bullion dealer said that tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 50 to Rs 40,750.
However, silver slipped to Rs 512.81 per 10 grams.

KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 42 to Rs 33,000 per 10 grams in local bullion market on Monday, as its international price also dipped to $ 1,190 an ounce, market sources said.
A leading bullion dealer said that tola (11.664 grams) price also decreased to Rs 38,500.
Silver eroded to Rs 480 per 10 grams.
