Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Brisk shipping was recorded at the Port where nine ships scheduled to load/offload containers, cement, rice, bitumen, chemicals, palm oil and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Grain &. Fertilizer Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Thursday, November 10.

Meanwhile two more ships carrying containers and project cargo also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was observed at the Port at 69% on Thursday as compared to 31% on previous day where ten ships namely C.V Nale Maersk, C.V Pisti, C.V APL Chille, M.V Alexi-I, M.V Safina-2, M.T Asthit Merchant, M.T Bunga Laurel, M.T Olympic Serenity, M.T Pitaloka and M.V Kiran Africa are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, bitumen, palm oil, furnace oil, chemicals and sunflower seeds respectively during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out efficiently at the Port where a cargo volume of 116,115 tonnes, comprising 92,490 tonnes imports and 23,625 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 3,043 containers (TEUS) was handled during last 24 hours.

Three container ships Nele Maersk, Pisti and APL Chille sailed out to sea on Friday morning, while another chemicals carrier Pitaloka is expected to sail on same day.

Four ships C.V MSC Anafi, C.V Al-Mirqab, M.V STX Bright and M.T DL Voilet carrying containers, project cargo and chemicals are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Friday, November 11.

Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Two ships C.V MSC Anafi and M.T Baltic carrying containers and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Monday, September 26.

Meanwhile two more ships C.V Maersk Kolkata and M.V Alexi-I scheduled to load/offload containers and cement also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Tuesday, September 27.

Berth occupancy remained at 31 percent at the Port on Monday where a total of four ships namely C.V MSC Anafi, M.V Orient-III, M.V Vina Line Sky and M.T Baltic are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 69,274 tonnes, comprising 56,308 tonnes imports and 12,966 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,800 containers (Boxes) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Departure remained nil during last 24 hours.

Three ships C.V Maersk Kolkata, C.V Al-Farahidi and M.T Gold containers and chemicals are expected to take berths at Containers Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Tuesday, September 27.

Container ship CMA CGM Verdi is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday, September 28, while five more ships C.V New Delhi Express, C.V Nele Maersk, C.V Maersk Davenport, C.V MSC Sena and C.V Ro Ro are due to arrive on Thursday, September 29.

Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim where two ships C.V CMA CGM Mazort and M.T Patriotic carrying containers and chemicals were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Tuesday, September 6.

Meanwhile another chemicals carrier Stanley Park also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was managed at the Port at 46% on Tuesday where a total of six ships namely C.V CMA CGM Mazort, M.V Sapphire, M.V Tycoon, M.V Ioanthi, M.T Chemroad Quest and M.T Patriotic are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, urea, palm oil and chemicals respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of during last 24 hours stood at 45,463 tonnes, comprising 40,619 tonnes Imports and 4,844 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,910 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port.

Three ships C.V CMA CGM Mazort, M.T Chemroad Quest and M.T Patriotic sailed out to sea on Wednesday morning, while two more ships M.V Tycoon and M.V Ioanthi are expected to sail on same day afternoon.

Two Ships C.V CMA CGM Puccini and M.T Stanley Park carrying containers and phosphoric acid are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Wednesday, Sep 7.

C.V ACX Hibiscus is due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day, while three more ships C.V Dubai Express, C.V Nysted Maersk and C.V Glory are due arrive on Thursday, Sep 8.

Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Shipping activity remained active at Port Qasim where three ships carrying containers and chemical were allotted berth at QICT and EVTL Terminals respectively on Monday, July 25.

Meanwhile, three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 65 percent at the Port where a total of seven ships namely MSC Sena, Hammonia Bavaria, Wales II, Nelson, Isabel Knutsen, Olympic Sponsor and DL Aster are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, chemicals, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 115271 tonnes, comprising 91104 tonnes imports and 24167 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1834 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

MSC Sena and DL Aster sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning while Hammonia Bavaria and Olympic Sponsor will have to sail today late.
